Hastelloy C276 Instrumentation

It resists localized corrosion forms such as pitting and crevice corrosion, as well as stress corrosion cracking, which can be catastrophic in process control environments. Fabrication of instrumentation components from C276 is straightforward using standard procedures. The alloy is readily weldable using appropriate filler materials (such as ERNiCrMo-4), without the need for post-weld heat treatment in many cases. It also retains excellent corrosion resistance in the heat-affected zones, a key requirement for welded tubing or instrument manifolds. C276 tubing and components are available in standard instrumentation sizes and are fully compatible with precision systems from manufacturers like Swagelok, Parker, and others.
