Sumer Metal Industries Private Limited manufactures precision Inconel 718 and Incoloy 825 needle tubes engineered for demanding industrial and medical applications. Using controlled melting and cold-draw processes, we produce thin-walled seamless and welded tubes with tight dimensional accuracy suitable for capillaries, fuel injectors, instrumentation lines and surgical components. Our production lines are set up to handle micro-diameters through small-bore sizes with consistent inner-diameter control and excellent surface quality.
Inconel 718 is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium-niobium alloy prized for its very high strength, exceptional creep and fatigue resistance at elevated temperatures, and good oxidation resistance. This makes 718 needle tubes ideal where high mechanical loads, thermal cycling or sustained service above ambient temperatures occur — for example in aerospace fuel systems, high-temperature sensors and turbine component instrumentation.
Incoloy 825 (Alloy 825) is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy alloyed with molybdenum and copper to deliver outstanding resistance to reducing acids, chloride-induced stress-corrosion cracking and general corrosion in aggressive chemical environments. Needle tubes made from 825 are preferred for chemical dosing, offshore chloride-bearing environments, downhole sampling and any application requiring superior corrosion resistance rather than maximum high-temperature strength.
Our manufacturing control covers material selection, hot/cold working, solution treatment and precise cold drawing to achieve final tolerances; we offer surface finishes from bright‐drawn to electropolished as required. Each lot can be supplied with material test certificates (EN 10204 3.1 / MTC), positive material identification (PMI) on request, and full traceability from melt to shipment. Custom heat treatments and aging cycles are applied for Inconel 718 when customers require enhanced strength levels.

Typical needle-tube dimensions we supply range from micro OD/ID sizes (sub-millimeter) up to small-bore tubing (several millimeters OD) with wall thicknesses optimized per application. We can meet tight tolerances (often to ±0.02 mm depending on size) and supply cut-to-length parts, kitted assemblies or tubes with secondary operations such as end-forming, swaging or brazing. Packaging is tailored for export and for protection of highly finished surfaces.

A: Inconel 718 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy offering exceptional high-temperature strength, fatigue resistance, and oxidation resistance, making it suitable for aerospace and turbine applications. Incoloy 825, on the other hand, is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with molybdenum and copper additions, designed for superior corrosion resistance in aggressive chemical and marine environments. The choice depends on whether strength at elevated temperatures (718) or corrosion resistance (825) is the priority.
A: These needle tubes are widely used in aerospace, oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, medical, chemical processing, instrumentation, and power generation industries. Inconel 718 is favored for high-temperature and fatigue-loaded applications, while Incoloy 825 is chosen for environments with sulfuric, phosphoric, and seawater corrosion exposure.
